Hello!  I’m Michelle Gilbert, your elementary school counselor.  I grew up in east Tennessee, went to Clemson University in South Carolina for my Bachelor’s Degree, then University of Georgia for my Master’s Degree in school counseling.  I am married, have two grown daughters and one precious granddaughter.

I have a real passion for supporting our students’ emotional, social, and academic growth so they can thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Whether it’s helping students navigate friendships, build resilience, or learn healthy ways to manage big emotions, my goal is to empower them

Outside of school, you can usually find me spending time with my family, exercising, or hunting for a special cup of tea.
